Grow On The Go Therapy Services accepts referrals from parents, doctors, children's developmental services, health departments, daycares, and other agencies serving children. To get started, please call our office at 857-891-0189 or complete the contact form. Our Office Administrator will contact you to gather basic information about your child's needs. If your insurance is listed in our accepted insurance plans, we will verify your child's coverage for occupational therapy services.
The following documentation is required to begin services:
A prescription or referral order from your child's Primary Care Physician.
A copy of your primary insurance card and/or your child's Medicaid card. (If your child is covered under both your insurance and Medicaid, please bring both cards. Medicaid requires us to bill the primary insurance first before covering any services.)
The subscriber's driver's license.

If you don’t have insurance, we offer private pay rates and accept cash, checks, and credit cards for direct payments. We’ll provide you with a fully coded superbill as a receipt, but we cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance carrier if you choose to submit it.

To schedule your child's initial evaluation please complete and sign the New Patient Forms. Once all of the appropriate information is received and an opening is available, the Office Administrator will then call you to set up your child's first appointment. During the evaluation , A lead therapist will meet with you and your child to assess your child’s skill level, discuss your concerns, and set goals for treatment. The initial evaluation typically lasts about 1 hour and may include standardized testing, a parent interview, and clinical observations during therapist-led activities.

Treatment Plan

After the evaluation,our Occupational Therapists will develop a treatment plan tailored to your child’s needs. You and your therapist will collaborate to find a schedule that works best for your family. We often see clients weekly or twice weekly at home, school, or daycare if circumstances allow. We strongly value family involvement and work closely with school staff to maximize progress. We will work 1:1 with your child to strategically engage in their primary occupation of playing and learning. This helps develop essential motor, sensory, and cognitive skills. We aim to build your child’s confidence and ability to thrive in various environments with greater engagement and independence. Below are the key areas we address in your child’s treatment plan:

Fine Motor Skills

Finger dexterity, precision grasp, finger isolation, in-hand manipulation skills, bilateral coordination, tracing, coloring, handwriting, cutting, gluing, and hand/finger strengthening to manipulate everyday objects.

Sensory Motor Skills

Core strength, balance, climbing, jumping, crawling, and more to support physical development.

Visual Motor/Perceptual Skills

Visual scanning, matching, completing puzzles, using a mouse/keyboard, and hand-eye coordination.

Activities of Daily Living

Dressing, self-feeding, personal grooming, toileting, and bathing.

Instrumental Activities of Daily Living

Meal setup/cleanup, organization, laundry, grocery shopping, money management, and care of others or pets.

Sensory Regulation

Desensitization to various sensory stimuli, including clothing textures and food smells, alongside implementing a sensory diet for regulation.

Sequencing and Executive Functioning Skills

Following multi-step directions, Attention, problem solving, flexible thinking, working memory, self-control, and even emotional control , manage day-to-day tasks, stay safe, and get things done.
